QisYou is a conversation with other women about what I believe is the most important relationship in our life – our relationship with our body. I have been having this conversation in fitness and meditation classes and wellness retreats all over the country and found over the years that it is a very uplifting and sexy conversation. Turns out we all want to be more sexy because it fuels our vibrant, creative, loving self and makes us look beautiful. Feeling sexy lifts us up with enthusiasm for life. This inspired me to design the program QisYou, and this blog as a way to share it with you. Enjoy! Life is all about our vibration!
QisYou helps keep our sexy, sacred, soothing vibration strong by showing us techniques for good posture and body-meditation™. This supports us to be connected with our inner truth and wisdom. We recognize our body as holy and thus feel intrinsically motivated to make the choices to live and love well…to become the women we want to be. We experience life with greater ease, joy, love, faith and fun. The truth for me…how we experience life and enjoy it comes down to how we respond to it– and our best response comes from our inner knowing. “Its all about our vibration!”
My new philosophy on life: Our body always knows the best answer! And our fit body is our greatest inspiration!”
I believe our relationship with our body is the most important because my body has become the touchstone of my life—meaning it’s the only place I turn to for honest answers. In my past when I was faced with a major dilemma, such as what I wanted to do in life, what decision to make about a relationship, how to invest my money, whether to sleep with someone, whether to stay with a job, what house/car to buy, what to eat or what to wear or even how to exercise,…the list goes on, I struggled to “figure it out” and my mind only confused me. However over the years, I realized that the best decisions were ones that made me feel good—not just emotionally but that made my body feel good as well! And ultimately I discovered that what felt good was an easy, soothing, sensual vibration flowing through me that felt holy, sacred somehow. When I feel it, I feel calm, centered and certain–a deep inner knowing about who I am.
Because of experiencing more struggle than I cared to in life, I began to ponder my life and my relationship with my body. My postulate: if I keep doing the same things over in life that do not make me happy, I must be looking at my life from the same perspective, with the same thoughts, ideas and beliefs. So I began to wonder…where do new ideas and beliefs, inspiration and aha moments come from? Where does my inner wisdom come from? I think I have discovered the answer.
Put simply, I believe my body holds my divine truth and thus it is best to live life from the perspective of my body’s consciousness—how it is feeling. If my body is tense, then a decision I am making is probably not good. Thus it has proven better for me to first align (good posture) and relax my body and then decide. My calm body helps calm my mind and I regain perspective. And better yet when me and my body feel yummy, then it’s most likely a great decision.
“A woman’s body holds her divine truth. It’s all in our vibration!”
