THE POWER OF POSTURE–EXPERIENCE BODY/MIND/SPIRIT CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUR CHAKRAS

We can make navigating life rather simple and yet very powerful as well. If we follow this simple formula–when we feel love-vibe (fear, sadness, anxiety), we can instantly stop and “raise our vibe” into faith, hope and ease…by stopping a moment and “getting back in our body.” Standing tall, opening our chest and smiling big we begin to re-align our chakras and “your vibe”–your inner knowing and true self–flows more vibrantly. You feel better…almost instantly and you can stay feeling better by maintaining your good posture.

Your “LOW-vibe”–THE VIBRATIONS OF BAD POSTURE

You need to learn how to experience various vibrations–so you can work with them. Let’s begin easily by experiencing the powerful difference in the vibrations in your body between bad posture and good posture. Stand in bad posture and notice the sensations in your body. Slouch and frown. Round your shoulders and drop your chest and schlump your belly. Let your head and arms fall forward and feel heavy. Feel the discomfort… the ache in your back, neck and hips. Feel the heaviness in your chest. Be still and notice the vibrations in your body–are they heavy, lethargic. Now notice how these affect your emotions, then your mood. Standing in schlumpy body for a minute begin to  become aware of the negative thoughts that start to flow…how do you feel about yourself and your life? In bad posture you are vulnerable to the stresses of life.

She is miserable, confused.

In bad posture, you feel down and your vide is low and your aura dull. Everyone around you begins to feel down and you spiral downward into more negativity. Ask yourself if you spend much of your day feeling like this. Do you spend much of your day in bad posture? Ask yourself what others might be saying about you. Do you really want to be this woman?

Feel or imagine how bad posture influences the flow of earth and cosmic energy through your chakras…this flow is your soulful nature and intimately influences your psyche, your sense of identity. In bad posture you are bent over, slouchy and schlumpy in your torso and thus it makes sense that the flow of energy, even the flow of your bodily fluids, becomes sluggish and congested. This negatively influences the balance and power of each chakra–negatively affecting your health, your moods, your thinking (and behavior).  Your body’s vibe is weak diluting your personal power and diminishing your self-image, your self-love. Your signature light dims. You look and feel dim. Sounds grim.

Now allowing yourself to feel this “low-vibe” imagine how you speak with someone when you are in this vibe—see your posture, energy, tone of voice, and facial expression. Imagine their response to you. Think about how your posture might negatively affect your behavior and this might influence negative interactions with others. Think about  the outcomes that might occur as a result of these negative interactions. These negative interactions reciprocate creating more negative vibrations in your body–making your posture even worse….and spiral down we go. We call this interaction between body, mind and spirit, and between you and others, “reciprocating influences.

Yet, the wonderful gift of your human experience is that this all works in the opposite as well–yay!!! Prove this to yourself.

Your “HIGH-vibe”–THE VIBRATIONS OF GOOD POSTURE

Stand in good posture–feeling your feet rooted into the Earth, your heart lifted and the crown of your head reaching and open toward Heaven. Feel or imagine energy flowing up from Earth and down from Cosmos through your body and blending into the unique vibration that is you. Take three, slow, smooth, deep breaths. Be still, feel your body and listen. Notice while standing balanced and tall if you feel a shift in your body’s vibration–has is smoothed out a bit? Give yourself a minute–so you have a chance to feel rather than just hear the din of your ego-chatter. Do you feel more “calmly energized?” Do you feel good–better than when you were standing in bad posture? Makes sense that your energy through your chakras begins to flow more freely. Physically balanced over Earth’s gravity you feel less heavy–you feel both anchored and lifted up. According to Newton’s Law of physics the more rooted you feel the taller you can become. Feel or imagine how this makes you feel both emotionally and mentally. You have just consciously reconnected with your chakras and raised your vibration! You have connected with your divine self and inner knowing…whispering insights about the truth of who you are and of life. How do you feel about yourself now?
